Blue Man Group
Every year Blue Man Group goes direct to the masses with a national tour. We (Counts Media) worked closely with them for their 2006 tour to develop a mobile content product that was delivered to users while the performance was actually going on.
Content cues launched off the show’s video boards and delivered alternate punch-lines and content synced with the lighting system (billed at $1.99 to phone fees). Opening night, we watched families passing around phones during the show just to make sure everyone saw all the content.
